Every Stocks coin builds up a stock token: a wrapper from xStocks or EQX, not a share, and the company behind the stock has nothing to do with the coin. A new coin holds none yet: part of its tax waits as HYPE until someone delivers the stock. Holders can hand coins in at any time for their share of the stock token and of the waiting HYPE, and every buyback raises what each coin is backed by. xStocks are not for US persons.

A normal eleos coin in a HYPE pool. Every router and terminal trades it from the first second. The tax is paid in HYPE.
The creator side of the tax goes to the coin's vault. Anyone can deliver the stock for it at a price that starts 10% under the last fill and rises 2% an hour. No oracle, no price set by hand.
Any holder can hand coins in for their share of the stock and of the HYPE still waiting. When the coin trades under that share, buying and handing in pays: that is the floor.
